La Maddalena
The center of La Maddalena tells the past of an entire community. From the fishermen's port, to the Church of S. Maria Maddalena, up to the Umbertine-style architecture, we trace the history of an island that is still a crossroads of cultures and identity. Not far away, the small hill of the Trinity collects the remains of the first settlements on the island: a community of Corsican shepherds who, in the 18th century, settled in La Maddalena, giving rise to its foundation.
